Choose an agent for the formation state
The formation intake lets you choose Notorio registered-agent service or supply your own agent details. A registered agent receives designated legal and official notices; a digital mailbox is a separate mailing service.
Use your own agent
Enter the actual agent name and structured US address requested by the form. The agent address must match the formation state. Do not use an unrelated mailing address or assume that adding an address buys agent service.
Choose Notorio
The registered-agent service costs $99 for the first year, followed by $125 annual renewal. Selecting it adds the service to formation checkout. State fees and applicable tax are shown separately where relevant.
The optional digital mailbox
The mailbox toggle adds a separate $39 monthly service. The initial checkout includes the first month, not a full year of mailbox service. Registered agent renews annually; the mailbox renews monthly. Buying one does not automatically include the other.
What happens after payment
The purchased registered-agent record, and mailbox record if selected, appear in their company sections as In review while setup is handled with the formation. Wait for the assigned service details and Active status before treating an address as ready to use.
Do not purchase the same service again to resolve a pending status. If the record is missing after refreshing, use the contact form with the company and purchase reference.
