Notorio LLC (“Notorio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our website, applications and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.

1. Information we collect

We collect different types of information in order to provide and improve our Services.

A. Information you provide directly

  • Account registration details such as name, email address, phone number, company name and password (or Google account details if you sign in with Google).
  • Payment and billing details such as billing address and tax ID where applicable. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we store only references such as the card brand and last four digits, never full card numbers.

  • Customer support communications and other messages you send to us.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system and device identifiers.
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps and referring websites.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, security, preferences and, only with your consent, analytics.

C. Information from third parties

  • Publicly available business or corporate information.
  • Information shared by integration partners and service providers, such as payment processors and Google when you choose Google sign-in.

2. How we use your information

  • Operating, maintaining and improving our Services.
  • Processing formation, registered agent and other service requests, transactions and billing.
  • Providing customer support and responding to inquiries.
  • Personalizing your experience and improving platform functionality.
  • Sending service emails such as verification, invoices, reminders and signature notifications.
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Detecting, preventing and investigating fraud or misuse.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: vendors who help with hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics or other operational services.
  • Filings and services you request: information needed to complete a formation, registered agent or similar request is shared with the relevant state agencies or service parties.
  • People you invite: team members and signers you add to your companies or documents.
  • Legal obligations: when required by applicable laws, regulations, court orders or government requests.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of company assets.
  • With your consent: when you instruct us to share information with third parties.

4. Google user data

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We use this information solely to create and secure your Notorio account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except service providers needed to operate sign-in.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, protect the Services and, if you allow it, understand usage. Essential cookies are always on; analytics cookies are used only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookies link in the website footer or through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Services.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including legal, accounting or compliance obligations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — including encrypted connections, access controls and isolation between companies and users — designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse. However, no system can guarantee complete security.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.

9. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, or under 16 in certain jurisdictions such as the European Union. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please let us know through our contact form and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Third-party services and links

Our Services may include links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. International users

If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, used or shared, and to request access to or deletion of your personal information.

13. European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR or applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

Where required by law, we process personal data based on legal grounds such as performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate business interests or your consent.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may reach us through our contact form or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email or by posting a notice on our website before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
