Start with a draft

Choose Add a company and the new-business option. The intake creates a Draft company so you can return to it; it does not instantly form a legal entity.

The six steps

  1. Company info: enter the name, entity type and formation state. Corporations also provide authorized shares and par value.
  2. Management: add the required people. Corporations use President, Secretary and Treasurer entries and director choices; other entity types use their management list.
  3. Optional items: choose applicable services, such as EIN assistance, registered agent, digital mailbox or a paid app plan. Expedited filing appears only when configured for the selected state and entity.
  4. Contact info: provide contact and mailing details. International mailing addresses are supported.
  5. Review: check names, addresses, management, service choices and totals.
  6. Pay: complete checkout for the selected items.

Fees and timing

The Notorio formation service is $129 plus the applicable state fee. Optional services and any applicable tax are additional. When expedited filing is available, compare the displayed regular and expedited fees and estimated processing business days. Estimates are not guaranteed approval dates.

After payment

The formation moves to Processing for review and fulfillment. Purchased registered-agent and mailbox services appear as In review while they are being set up. Payment confirms the purchase, not state approval or an issued EIN. Check Overview for follow-up information requests and respond promptly.
